ELAD

I hold an endorsement for English Language and Acquisition and Development (formerly TESL). I have completed coursework in the following areas of study:

• Language acquisition theory

• Methods and curriculum for teaching English learners

• Assessment and Evaluation of English learners

• Policies critical issues and best practices for English learners

I am licensed to teach 7-12 Mathematics. Along with passing Praxis 5165 test, I have completed coursework in the following areas of study:

• Calculus

• Linear, abstract and modern algebra

• Discrete mathematics

• Euclidian and non-Euclidian geometry

• Mathematical computer applications

• Logic or methods of mathematical proofs

I have years of experience teaching elementary students. I had taught 1st grade and 3rd grade. I was also a Reading and Math Intervention teacher for 5th grade students. I provided high-quality Tier II instruction that meet the needs of all students in my small groups.
