My vision

My vision is to purposely apply these skills in the classroom so that my students become independent thinkers with empathy.

To achieve my mission and vision, I made the following commitment to my teaching profession:

  • Create a fun and safe learning environment for all of my students.

  • Validate and affirm my students' background by applying culturally and linguistically responsive teaching/learning practices.

  • Cultivate student autonomy and develop student learning accountability.

  • Ensure that assignments and assessments are purposeful.

  • Use student data to drive and differentiate instruction.

  • Participate in professional development opportunities to improve student outcomes.
